Mbarkk do not source their buildings from just one country or supplier. We supply authentic log cabins and homes from various suppliers throughout the Nordic and Baltic countries as well as Canada and Northern America . Experience has shown that different projects have different demands. For some the delivery might be tight, for others it might be cost sensitive or quality paramount. Our ongoing relationship with these favoured providers means that we can negotiate improved terms, delivery and quality. It also means that capacity is never a problem and our management team ensures that on-going quality control procedures are maintained at all times. We are able to supply either functional cabins or stunning homes in a range of wall thicknesses - determined by planned use. These can range from 45mm to 310mm and a little knowledge of the intended use will allow our experts to advise you of the best option for your use.

All our log houses are made of good looking and long lasting pinewood. This Scandinavian pine is well known all over the world as a very best raw material for building timber houses.

Mbarkk round logs have unusual oval profile which makes the house warmer than when using standard round logs. However the look remains as a traditional round log house.

Log profiles

Mbarkk offers two different log profiles - square logs and round logs (oval).
If you have decided to build your house from round logs , You can choose from 3 different log sizes:
150 mm (height 134mm)
175 mm (height 150mm)
195 mm (height 176mm)

Square logs are available in 5 different log sizes:
70 mm (height 133mm)
92 mm (height 160mm)
118 mm (height 180mm)
142 mm (height 180mm)
165 mm(height 180mm)

We can also offer  laminated square logs in 4 different sizes:
88 mm
113 mm
134 mm
165 mm

Although most of log houses are built only from logs, it is possible to insulate the house from inside. If a house is made of square logs, internal panel profile and log profile match and it is nearly impossible to notice that the house is insulate.
It is also possible to build double-wall log house. Insulation will be placed between two log walls and that makes the house very warm and strong.
All our logs are kiln-dried to humidity 20% (+/- 2%) - this increases stability of the building and enables to move in right after the construction has been completed.
